Business email setup

Professional business email setup on your own domain.

WebQuick helps Australian small businesses connect their domains to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail, configure the required DNS and authentication records, and test the result without disturbing the existing website.

Who this service is for

For businesses that need reliable email on their own domain.

A professional address such as hello@yourbusiness.com.au strengthens brand consistency and separates business communication from personal inboxes.

New businesses

Set up the domain, provider, mailboxes and authentication correctly before customers begin using the new addresses.

Businesses changing provider

Plan a controlled move from an old host or mailbox system to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail.

Businesses with delivery problems

Review DNS and authentication records when mail is missing, rejected, landing in spam or conflicting with a website move.

What setup can include

The domain, mailboxes and DNS records configured as one system.

The exact work depends on the chosen provider, current DNS, number of users, existing email data and whether this is a new setup or migration.

Provider and plan review

Compare the practical fit of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Zoho Mail without bundling the subscription into WebQuick's fee.

Domain verification

Add the provider's required TXT or CNAME record to prove control of the business domain.

Users and mailboxes

Create the required users, primary mailboxes, aliases or shared addresses before changing mail delivery.

MX record cutover

Point new incoming email to the selected provider only after the receiving mailboxes are ready.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC

Configure appropriate email-authentication records to support legitimate sending and reduce spoofing and delivery problems.

Testing and handover

Test sending, receiving, aliases and common devices, then document ownership and ongoing subscription responsibilities.

Website and email continuity

Changing email records should not break the website.

The website and business email can use the same domain while being hosted by different providers. WebQuick preserves the website's existing records while changing only the DNS entries required for email.

Website remains in place

Changing MX and email-authentication records does not require moving the website or transferring the domain.

Mailboxes before cutover

New user accounts should be created before the MX change so new messages have a valid destination.

Controlled DNS changes

Existing website, verification and third-party records are reviewed so unrelated services are not removed accidentally.

How it works

A planned cutover designed to reduce disruption.

Email changes affect important business communication. WebQuick records the existing setup, prepares the destination first and tests the result after DNS changes.

1

Audit the current setup

Confirm the domain registrar, DNS host, current provider, mailboxes, aliases, devices and any website dependencies.

2

Prepare the new service

Add the domain, verify ownership and create every receiving mailbox before changing incoming mail delivery.

3

Change and authenticate DNS

Add the approved MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and provider-specific records while preserving unrelated website records.

4

Test and document

Confirm inbound and outbound mail, aliases and basic device access, then document account ownership and remaining migration tasks.

Service boundaries

A setup service—not unlimited mailbox migration and IT support.

Simple configuration can be straightforward. Historical email migration, damaged accounts, complex Microsoft tenants, many devices or compliance requirements need separate assessment.

Standard setup can include

  • Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail setup
  • Custom-domain verification
  • User, mailbox and common alias creation
  • MX and provider-required DNS records
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration
  • Basic sending and receiving tests

Separately assessed work

  • Historical mailbox, calendar or contact migration
  • Large numbers of users, devices or shared mailboxes
  • Corrupt, inaccessible or disputed old accounts
  • Advanced Microsoft tenant or identity administration
  • Email archiving, legal hold or regulated compliance
  • Ongoing desktop, mobile and general IT support
Pricing

Setup is quoted separately from the provider subscription.

The fee depends on the provider, number of users, DNS condition, mailbox structure and whether historical data must be migrated.
